History
One can trace the roots of Nevermet Press back to a few blogs on the RPG Bloggers Network. They all sprang to life around the same time during the summer of 2008. These blogs were The Core Mechanic, Mad Brew Labs, and At-Will. Soon the minds behind these blogs, Jonathan Jacobs, Michael Brewer, and Quinn Murphy, combined forces and collaborated on a few projects.
The first collaboration was a series hosted on The Core Mechanic called Skill Challenges of War. The series featured eleven Skill Challenges created to assist Dungeon Masters of the 4th Edition of Dungeon & Dragons with campaigns that focused on war or large scale battles.
The next collaboration continued to focus on Skill Challenges, but this time the theme was Dungeon & Underdark Challenges and features three detailed Skill Challenges that will appear in Kobold Quarterly #10 for Summer 2009.
Having wet their appetites for writing published content for tabletop roleplaying games, the collaborators turned their attention to starting their own business. This seed grew into what you see on this site as Nevermet Press.
Today, Jonathan and Michael are partners running this small RPG publisher using an innovative profit sharing structure for content contributors that develop system independent gaming material that is further supported for popular, as well as niche, gaming systems by the RPG blogging community.
