Nevermet Press is a publisher of speculative fiction and table-top roleplaying games. The company was founded by RPG bloggers Michael Brewer and Jonathan Jacobs in 2009 on the idea that crowd-sourcing and creative content develop could go hand-in-hand. Since that time we’ve fostered a lively community of writers, artists, and game developers who have published, produced, and marketed multiple highly regarded products. Visit our Product Catalog to see what we’ve done in the past, or join us on Twitter or Facebook to find out what we’re planning on doing in the future.

Jonathan Jacobs
Jonathan Jacobs, Editor in Chief
Jonathan has been creating fictional worlds both at and away from the game table for more than nearly thirty years. Gaming at the table may not happen as often as it did when he was in college, but he still manages to enjoy a bi-weekly game with a few friends. His interest in RPGs and the gaming industry surged in 2008 when he started blogging about games on his blog, The Core Mechanic. Not long after starting TCM, he started the Open Game Table project, an anthology of roleplaying game blogs now in its second volume. Both Volume 1 & 2 of Open Game Table are now part of the Nevermet Press product catalog. The early success of Open Game Table provided the inertia to go forward and start Nevermet Press, which he founded with Michael Brewer in 2009.

Laura Kemmerer
Laura Kemmerer, Assistant Editor
Laura, currently a writing student at the University of Pittsburgh, grew up with a love of mythology. In an attempt to get her to broaden her horizons, Laura’s father gave her a boxed set of the Lord of the Rings. Not one to take well to new things, it took her father’s persistence over the course of years to get her to finally read the books. It has been a love affair with fantasy ever since. She plans to go on to major in mythological studies for her graduate degree, and hopes to eventually work as a video game writer.

Richard Iorio II
Born in Connecticut, Richard has lived in such far flung and exotic locales as Pocatello, Idaho and Mauston, Wisconsin.
Richard was once a librarian, and has come a long way from the days when he was the librarian for Harley-Davidson. He spent the first part of his career as a law librarian and worked for two Chicago law firms where he learned a lot about law and law firm culture. This is what drove him to the halls of academia. It was academia which drove him out of the profession, and he now works as a graphic designer, game designer and writer.
Currently living in Chicago, Illinois with his wife, cat and library of books, Richard is busy working on the historical supernatural horror game Colonial Gothic, and Shadow Sword & Spell.
When not writing in the third-person Richard loves to cook, ride his bike, read, study and play games.
