Encounter: Spoiled Waters
Posted on August 5, 2009 | No CommentsBrother Ptolemy has decided that fortune favours the bold; instead of passively converting the sick and downtrodden, he has reasoned that by cursing the city's water supply to make people ill, he can hasten the supply of willing converts. To that end, he has dispatched a nine person team to the city’s water supply with a powerful ritual to do just that. The city’s water is drawn from a large reservoir 5 miles away; the water is pumped (magically or otherwise) into an aqueduct connected to the city. -
Encounter: Rumble in the Jungle
Posted on July 30, 2009 | No CommentsA skirmish in the woods, using traps and terrain to corral the PCs. Snipers will open the combat once the players discover a spiked pit trap. Other traps will include quicksand and poison darts. The players have been hired by a Marquise; she is the sponsor of numerous orphanages in the province. She has been receiving reports of missing street children over the past few months and has hired the party to look into it. The party has determined a pattern to the disappearances; they seem to line up with the schedule of a visiting dignitary, Prince Immerel Lithose. The Prince himself seems beyond reproach; he is charitable, friendly and well-loved. The party suspects that someone in the Prince's entourage is responsible. -
Encounter: Warehouse Confrontation

The players have traced the hostile activities back to The Desire; they have also determined the time (tonight) and place (a giant warehouse near the docks) of her final meeting with the banker where she will be finalizing her purchase of the target's debt. The players have passed this information along to Marquis and intend to intercept The Desire and partners at the warehouse...
