Once development on The Dead Queens of Morvena wraps up, we’re likely going to focus much of our efforts on developing Loaerth & Feywyrd (L&F for short). Many of you who follow our L&F development already know that it’s basically a fantasy steampunk setting that is being developed using the Savage Worlds game system. We’ve already written quite a bit about this project, but it is still in its early develop stages so there’s still lots of room for improvement and for contributions from you – our fans and readers.
Currently, we are hoping to have our first L&F print offering, a world gazetteer and player’s guide, available late in the Spring of 2011. That is only going to be possible though with your support, input, and contributions to the project. So…

That’s right – both volumes of Open Game Table, the new 4E D&D adventure setting “Brother Ptolemy & The Hidden Kingdom”, and our first 4E D&D eBook “The Desire”! Awesome, eh?!
To recap:
All you have to do is watch for Loaerth & Feywyrd posts, or read any of the previously posted content, and leave a comment that is insightful, helpful, critical, etc.
Make it count! Make it great! Make it often!
If there’s something you want to contribute or say that doesn’t fit anywhere else – then stop by the new forums and start a new thread.
We are psyched about Loaerth & Feywyrd, and we hope you are too.
PS: If you are a blogger who writes about RPGs and would like to participate OFF SITE (i.e. from your own blog), that’s also totally fine for the contest. Simply link back to this page, and at the end of the month – in additioan to announcing the winner – we’ll also post a blog carnival style link round up of all the blogs who participated. Thanks!

I’m interested in steampunk, although 90% of what I know about it, I learned from reading “The Difference Engine,” and the rest from Space 1889. Where exactly can I read about your work? I don’t see the “obvious” link.
@Paul — welcome to NMP!
Well – Loaerth & Feywyrd is still in the development stages. It’s a fantasy “coalpunk” setting that mixes the usual tropes of elves, dwarves, and wizards with steampunk tropes of victoriana culture, anti-establishment pseudo science, and cultural revolution. The best way to read up on L&F is simply to follow the Loaerth & Feywyrd settings category link above. We don’t have a primer on the setting as of yet; but we hope to publish our first book for the setting next year. Hence – this is why we are trying to kickstart some community input on what you would like to see in a fantasy/steampunk mashup setting.
