#SteampunkGear on Twitter – The Next Steps

It’s been a few weeks since I started tweeting the names of fictional steampunk gear – everything from weapons, goggles, and cameras to flying gyrocopters and armored personel carriers. Everything I’ve tweeted so far has been “inspired by” real-life inventions from the 19th and early 20th centuries, and usually I’ve added the inventors name to the title to give a clue as to what I was thinking. The fun part is that a few others have also thrown in their gear into the proverbial hat as well (THANKS!). It’s shaping up to be quite a nice list – each with some cool history behind them too.

So now it’s time to talk about the next step of this little venture. I’m very excited to say that Jerall Toi (Pathfinder RPG Superstar Contest finalist, Kobold Quarterly contributor, RPG blogger at Ten Letter, and prior author here at Nevermet Press) will develop these items specifically for Pathfinder RPG. They will become part of a new project that is forthcoming from Nevermet Press designed to help inject a little bit of steam into your vaporless fantasy, clockwork, or weird western campaign. And yes, I’m being snarky.

What to contribute? Drop me a line and let me know. I’m looking for experienced Pathfinder RPG developers who are willing to work on a royalty basis.

Are you an artist? Well – I’m looking for contributing artists who would be willing to work on a royalty basis too! I have one—perhaps two—currently lined up, but everyone loves a good illustration, so there’s room to play. Soon, I’ll be able to show off some of the concepts that have been developed thus far as well.

Stay tuned for more – and here’s an updated list of #steampunkgear to come:
